What’s on the wheel today? A pretty pastel combo of hand-dyed wool along with accents of undyed, curly wool locks.  …I’m thinking - SPRING! :) 

Modeling my latest hand-knit hat - a variation on the “Wurm” pattern from Ravelry.  This was a fun, quick & easy project & I would definitely make another, maybe just a little longer….I tend to get impatient at the end & finish em too soon.  Hehe. Not bad though ;)

Handspun art yarn that I spun while giving a demo at last Friday’s “Portlandia” art show opening at Splendorporium.  This yarn actually contains 6+ different types of fiber, including some of my own hand-dyed colors as well as sparkly add-ins & some tulle accents!

This looks like a fun hat pattern (free from katushika on Ravelry) - great for all levels of knitters! Knitting in the round is simple once you try it & if you can knit & purl, that’s all there is to this hat!  Think I might whip one of these out this afternoon!! :)

Goodies from the Rose City Yarn Crawl! Stopped at 6 of the 19 shops today & saving the rest for later this weekend! …Behaved myself pretty well & stuck to buying a few magazines & patterns, hopefully to inspire me to use up my already well-stocked stash of yarn!! ;)

Who says the only knit gift options are hats and scarves? ..I’m thinking of tackling this project as a last minute gift idea….a felted mancala set! An old game, known by many different names all over the world, great for all ages! I like the stripy set featured on Knitty - do you like the stripes or would you choose solid colors?
